Ingredients:
- 1 liter of fresh whole milk
- 1 pot of whole natural yogurt (100g)
- 1/2 cup honey (optional)
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract (optional)
- Chopped fresh fruit (strawberries, bananas, kiwi, etc.) to taste
- Homemade or store-bought granola to taste
Preparation method:
- Heat the milk in a saucepan over low heat until it reaches about 180°F (80°C). It is important not to let the milk boil, as this can kill the beneficial bacteria in the yogurt.
- Remove the milk from the heat and let it cool until it reaches room temperature (about 40°C).
- In a sterilized glass jar, add the natural yogurt and mix well with the warm milk.
- Cover the jar and let it rest in a ventilated, dark place for about 8 hours, or overnight.
- After the time of rest, the yogurt will be ready to eat.
- Add honey and vanilla extract, if desired, and mix well.
- Serve the Magic Yogurt with chopped fresh fruit and granola to taste.
