Ingredients
(For approximately 500g of granola)
- 3 cups of rolled oats
- 1 cup of quinoa flakes
- 1/2 cup chopped almonds
- 1/2 cup of chopped cashew nuts
- 1/4 cup of chia seeds
- 1/4 cup of flax seeds
- 1/4 cup of raisins
- 1/4 cup of grated coconut
- 1/4 cup of honey
- 1/4 cup coconut oil
- 1 pinch of salt
Preparation Method
- Preheat the oven to 180°C.
- In a large bowl, mix the oats, quinoa, almonds, cashews, chia seeds, flax seeds, raisins and shredded coconut.
- In a small saucepan, heat the honey and coconut oil over low heat, stirring constantly, until the honey is completely dissolved.
- Pour the honey and coconut oil mixture over the dry ingredients and mix well until everything is evenly moistened.
- Line a large baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Spread the granola mixture evenly on the baking sheet, pressing down lightly with the back of a spoon or spatula.
- Bake in preheated oven for 20-25 minutes, or until granola is golden and crispy.
- Remove from oven and allow to cool completely before storing.
- Store granola in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 2 weeks.
