Magic Yogurt: Refreshing, Nutritious and Ideal for a Light Pre-Workout

Ingredients:

  • 1 liter of fresh whole milk
  • 1 pot of whole natural yogurt (100g)
  • 1/2 cup honey (optional)
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract (optional)
  • Chopped fresh fruit (strawberries, bananas, kiwi, etc.) to taste
  • Homemade or store-bought granola to taste

Preparation method:

  1. Heat the milk in a saucepan over low heat until it reaches about 180°F (80°C). It is important not to let the milk boil, as this can kill the beneficial bacteria in the yogurt.
  2. Remove the milk from the heat and let it cool until it reaches room temperature (about 40°C).
  3. In a sterilized glass jar, add the natural yogurt and mix well with the warm milk.
  4. Cover the jar and let it rest in a ventilated, dark place for about 8 hours, or overnight.
  5. After the time of rest, the yogurt will be ready to eat.
  6. Add honey and vanilla extract, if desired, and mix well.
  7. Serve the Magic Yogurt with chopped fresh fruit and granola to taste.
